Motorcycle Suspension Tools
Suspension tools are for setting up and servicing motorcycle shocks and forks. The range here includes Progressive Suspension shock pumps, fork oil level kits, a shock spring tool and pre-load spanners. Most are not made for one bike; where a tool is, such as a pre-load spanner for the Harley-Davidson Softail, the title names it.
Pumps and oil level kits
Progressive Suspension describes its digital gauge pump as a compact pump for adjusting air pressure in forks or shocks, with a 0 to 300 psi range and a flexible hose with a no-loss connector. Its fork oil level adjuster is for accurate fluid level adjustments, with calibration marks and a sliding marker. The range here has a digital gauge pump and a gauge-mounted air pump, both reading 0 to 300 psi, and a standard and a PRO fork oil level kit.
Spanners and spring tools
Pre-load spanners turn the spring preload adjuster on a shock. Progressive says its single-shock spanner fits most adjusters found on single shocks. The shock spring tool is for changing the spring on a shock; Progressive says its shock tool takes the hassle out of changing springs. Several pre-load spanners are listed, one of them for the 1985 to 2017 Harley-Davidson Softail.
Use them with shock absorbers, shock springs and Öhlins fork oil.
