Are Harley-Davidson motorcycles liquid cooled?
Harley-Davidson announced liquid-cooled cylinder heads for several of their 2014 models. The engine block was cooled by air and oil, with the coolant focusing on the exhaust valves. In 2020, Harley-Davidson revealed two new motorcycles that had liquid-cooled engines. The Pan America, which displaces 1250cc, and a Bronx Streetfighter, which displaces 975cc. The liquid-cooled engine is known as the Revolution Max, an upgrade on the V-Rod engines that had been in use since 2001. They were designed by Porsche’s engineering group and were the first water-cooled engines in the history of Harley-Davidson.
